What are the glazing options for the units?
Spectral Windows Residence 9 flush casement units can come in either double or triple glazing, with the option to choose from 28mm up to 44mm thickness.
Do Residence 9 windows come with a guarantee?
Although Spectral Windows have the utmost faith in their product, they do offer a ten year guarantee with their Residence 9 flush casement windows. Just for that added peace of mind.
How secure are the units?
To give your customers ultimate peace of mind, Spectral Windows supply uPVC flush casement windows that are Document Q compliant. This is the standard for security of doors and windows in new dwellings where the units are within two metres of an accessible level surface, i.e. ground level. For our range of windows this means all windows need to be manufactured to the PAS 24 standard.
Can Residence 9 be used in a conservation area?
Yes, Residence 9 windows are frequently approved for use in conservation areas. Their design, which mimics traditional timber windows, is often accepted by conservation officers for listed buildings and heritage properties. They offer a way to replace timber windows with modern, energy-efficient alternatives while maintaining the character of the property and its surroundings.
Due to their flush external design they keep the appearance of period properties and meet the requirements of most conservation area officers, however it’s always best to check with them before any installations take place.
